To our big surprise (it was officially still in production) BING got nominated for a BAFTA, in the 'Best Pre-School Animation' category. This was the perfect antidote to the long hours that were spent trying to raise the bar for this show.
The award went to the very worthy 'Sarah and Duck', but that didn't dampen our spirits. The realisation that BING has gathered quite a fan base in such a short time, and the delight of being at the BAFTAs, made for a memorable and incredibly fun night.
